The annual Varsity series between University of York and Durham University showcases the most successful sports teams from the institutions’ colleges with 30 fixtures taking place across 15 different sports. Each sport has an A fixture, worth 5 points, and a B fixture, worth 3 points.

This year varsity is coming home to York on Sunday the 8th of March 2026.

York's college teams will take part in Varsity Qualifiers from the 13th to 15th February 2026 to decide the top two teams who will represent Team York this year.
